For Adults

This section aims to provide adults with all the information about Swim and Survive Knowledge Modules and how to get children started on their water safety learning journey.

ABOUT SWIM AND SURVIVE KNOWLEDGE MODULES

Throughout the knowledge modules learners can select different locations to explore, learn through the characters’ adventures and actions, and participate in interactive learning activities.

Learners can earn Swim and Survive Points as they engage in the learning activities and aim to reach the status of a Swim and Survive Master.

Depending on the number of points they earn will result in their status:

  • Trainee Status =  up to 80%
  • Expert Status =  80% – 90%
  • Master Status = 90% and above

TARGET LEARNERS

The Swim and Survive Knowledge Modules are designed for primary school children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The modules progressively cover more complex concepts and children in early primary years will more likely need more assistance in completing activities and navigating through the program.

We encourage as many children as possible to complete the entire course (Welcome + 9 modules) to have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of swimming, water safety and lifesaving concepts.
